Bro, once again thanks for this valuable information. Now we can make our own and cheaper nutrients for AP's. My question though is since the Guide book was meant for soil based planting, would there be any form of side effects on the water quality i.e. ph increase, turbidity, smell, etc?
Has anyone tried this on GB's, NFT's or DWC's?

Bro, i have been using LABS and IMO2 on my non aquaponic fish tanks, no negative side effects so far. Water clarity better, better fish appetite, and better ammonia control. I had better effects rather than using EM1 , and almost similar effect to commercially sold bacillus subtilus priced at rm 200 per pack!
Ideologically, you just use a small dose that have no immediate effect on P.H, but in longer run you increase the amount of bacteria/microbes which stabilizes the PH.

EM 1 can cause root rot in our hot weather. Use LAB instead. EM 1 also contain yeasts and other things that would not survive in a EBB N flow grow bed.
However, you can continue to spray EM 1 on the leaves of the plant. Don't add it to the water.
That's my Experience.
